Integrated Technical Audits & National Surveying Coverage

Stroma Compliance Services works alongside various leading warranty providers to facilitate structural warranty options for our clients, ensuring a streamlined inspection process.

At Stroma Compliance Services, we leverage our extensive national network of qualified Building Inspectors to provide technical audit and inspection support to Structural Warranty Providers.

We offer a streamlined approach to site inspections; whether you require warranty audits alongside Building Control services or as a standalone technical service, our surveyors provide the rigorous oversight required to meet industry standards.

Our Service

Our national presence allows us to offer consistent, high-quality technical audits across England and Wales. We work with various warranty providers to ensure that site inspections and reports are captured accurately and professionally.

  • Integrated Delivery: We can coordinate warranty inspections alongside Stroma Building Control site visits, reducing the number of site call-outs and providing a single point of contact for both Building Control and Warranty site inspections.
  • Standalone Technical Audits: Our surveyors are available to provide independent technical audit inspections and reports on behalf of Warranty Providers, regardless of the Building Control provider.

Our Role

Stroma Compliance Services is a technical service provider and does not offer structural warranties directly. All discussions regarding insurance policies, warranty fees, and legal agreements must be conducted and agreed upon directly with external third-party warranty providers. Our role is strictly limited to providing professional surveying and technical audit services to support the warranty process.

What Is a Structural Warranty?

A structural warranty, often referred to as latent defects insurance, is a policy designed to protect against defects in the design, workmanship, or materials used in a new build or conversion.

When is a Warranty Required?

  • Mortgage Requirements: Most UK mortgage lenders require a structural warranty to be in place before they will provide funds for a new property.
  • Property Sales: For developers, having a recognised warranty in place is essential for the sale of new homes or converted units.
  • Long-term Security: It provides homeowners and developers with peace of mind that structural integrity is backed by insurance-led protection.
