Stroma Careers

Stroma Building Control’s success is built entirely on the strength of its staff and strong, collaborative local teams. At Stroma Building Control, all staff are valued, given the opportunity to get involved in the type of projects they like where possible, and given structured and regular technical support and day-to-day support from your manager.

Do you want to join one of the largest Registered Building Control Approvers in England and Wales, applying your knowledge of Building Regulations compliance on some of the most prestigious construction schemes? We are actively recruiting experienced Registered Building Inspectors and the next generation of talent to join our teams working across residential, commercial, and major projects.

Stroma Building Control has a large presence in London and the South East, which is complimented by regional offices covering the rest of England, from Durham in the North East and Truro in the South West. We offer a generous benefits package and opportunities for flexible home-working. View our Careers page and find the next step in your career.

Stroma Academy

As a Registered Building Control Approver, we recognise that our role within the Built Environment is really important; keeping people safe in buildings. Our Stroma Building Control Academy is a dedicated development programme to train junior building inspectors towards CABE chartership. The two-year programme combines theoretical knowledge of Building Regulations with practical, on-site experience alongside experienced inspectors. Academy candidates are offered access to regular CPD sessions as well as dedicated training support to help them build their portfolio of experience and enable them to gain professional chartership.
