Building Control Consultancy
As well as the standard Registered Building Control Approver service, Stroma Building Control is often engaged as a building control consultant operating client-side to give ongoing Building Regulations advice on the design and site works. Our team are experienced in operating as consultants on large mixed-use schemes, major regeneration projects, and schemes where another building control body has been appointed by another party at an early stage.
As consultants, we are able to operate in a much more collaborative way with our clients, including playing a supporting role in justifying Building Regulations compliance to the appointed building control body or statutory consultees.
For a number of clients, we are already operating as building control consultants for High-Risk Buildings (HRBs) that will fall under the control of the Building Safety Regulator.
